The packing industry
has been growing in the last five years, becoming decisive for
Brazil development.
This growth happened because the companies have adjusted to the
new global reality. Despite the per capita packing consumption
is still low in Brazil, the figures impress and do not stop growing.
Emibra is proud of being one of the leading companies in this
market sector, for which the company supplies a wide amount of
products, meeting any need.
See below some important moments of our business history:
1944 – Foundation of Jowaci in the commercial printing
and lithographic market, by the brothers João, Walter and
Ciro Braghiroli.
1964 – Walter and João decided to continue
in the printing sector and established Sorcibra Ind. Gráfica
with other partners. After consolidating in this market, Sorcibra
also initiated activities in the cardboard paper packaging sector.
1974 – Walter and João decided to establish
another company, destined only for the cardboard paper packaging
sector. Emibra Ind. e Com. de Embalagens Ltda was born from this
partnership.
The partnership that controlled Sorcibra ended and, in 1979,
the current Emibra’s directors – Wanderley, Waldir
and Wagner Braghiroli – took control of the company together
with their father, João Braghiroli. Sorcibra ended its
activities in 1984.
As time goes by, Emibra has been growing and strengthening in
the market. The trustworthiness conquered because of its quality
standards allowed it to increase the number of customers and consequently
the production.
The partners realized the need of enlarging the company and updating
technology, besides implementing new management methods. Thus,
after years of planning, the construction of a new plant was initiated.
The moving occurred in 1995.
In short, this history ends with “Victories and conquests”,
synonymous with hard work that Emibra has developed to consolidate
in the market as a serious and versatile company, adjusted to
the environmental laws and always aiming at the highest quality.
